We Want More!!!

Youtube is seriously lacking some Ruby Summer! Where's the new stuff? My ears are in need of live mermaids and poets action! So anyways this needs to change, i've already posted all of my videos of them, and encourage everyone else to do the same. The more people know about them the better!

This is a video that was previously posted on their youtube page. The song is little bird, and was written by Ruby.

Lets Take A Look Back...

Cowboy boots and hats don't exactly scream Ruby Summer to me, but they made it work. Summer and Ruby's first album Conspiracy of Divine Events will always hold a spot near and dear to my heart. The first song on the album "I Can Do What I Want" was a awesome way of Summer saying that she's happy and moving on. Following that we had South of Orange County, my go to feel good song on my Ipod. Third we have my fathers name which displayed Ruby's voice beautifully. My only complaint was that it was missing a key song. BITS AND PIECES! I'll admit i was dissapointed when i didnt see that included with the EP. These girls are really proving that they can do it all. They did the country thing, and said you know what lets not be afraid to go in a completely different direction, they were so right. Not only does their new sound fit them more, but to me it sounds more true to them and what they represent.

This is their EPK for their first album Conspiracy of Divine Events, Enjoy!

News Update!

Not a lot of news on the upcoming album but I'm certain that these four songs will be on in:

1. Mermaids and Poets
2. French Kisses
3. Breath
4. Midnight Queens

The fist three listed are on their Myspace page RubySummer.com, and an acoustic version of midnight queens can be heard at Cambio.net http://www.cambio.com/shows/cambio-style/midnight-queens.

I'm assuming they will be shooting a music video, but im not sure for which song or songs.
